The present state workbook says “Grundy County Detention Facility,” while older local and directory material commonly says “Grundy County Jail.” Both names can refer to the county jail function, but the state name is the formal current label used here.
The current county officials page gives 227 Maple Street for Sheriff Heath Gunter. An older sheriff page gives 62 Spring Street and names a former sheriff. The sources do not state when or why that address changed. The conflict should be preserved instead of inventing a move date or merging the two locations.
